# .si domains for funds, venture studios and accelerators

**In short.** .si is Slovenia's country-code domain, open to anyone worldwide, and since September 2026 it reads as "Super Intelligence". Registrations are running at more than 12,000 a day. For a fund, studio or accelerator focused on SI, a short .si name works like an early .ai name did for AI startups, and the clean two-word names are going fast.

## The .si market today

- **252,417** .si domains registered as of 2 October 2026, 09:00 BST (Register.si).
- **12,680** new .si registrations in the 24 hours to that time (Register.si).
- **46,066** registered in September 2026, versus **3,515** in August, about 13 times as many (Register.si).
- Interest jumped after 22 September 2026, when the US President told the UN General Assembly that AI would be called "Super Intelligence" (Foreign Policy, France 24).

## How investment brands are usually named

Venture brands tend to combine a short word with a category word: **Fund**, **Capital**, **Ventures**, **Partners** or **Labs**. "Labs" is common for venture studios and for innovation units inside banks and fund managers. On .si, these pairs read naturally as an SI brand:

- **fundlabs.si**: a venture studio or fund that backs SI labs
- the same pattern suits accelerators, fund-tech products and research units

## Making the most of a .si name

- **Lead with SI.** .si works best for a fund, studio or product that is explicitly about Super Intelligence.
